The problem does not lie with the question, do you have potential? Rather, have you discovered your potential? I am fully persuaded that everyone is born with innate potential to produce and achieve extraordinary things. However, because you have potential does not necessarily translate into extraordinary achievements overnight. With that said, it is important to reiterate that everyone possesses what it takes to achieve his/her dreams and expectations. Potential is that enablement and invisible resources that empowers you to do and achieve what you are designed for. The dilemma is that most people are ignorant of their potentials and as a consequence are unable to function to the best of their abilities. Hence discovering and harnessing your potential is critical to your success in every aspect of your life. Hereon I am sharing with you 3 ways to discover your true potential.

1. Discover your purpose: Your innate ability is linked to your purpose. Undefined purpose is one of the major reasons potential is either underused or unused. What is purpose? Purpose is the original intent for which a thing is created. The purpose of a thing determines and defines its potentiality. In order words it is your purpose that prescribes your potential. Discovering your purpose therefore activates your potential. Now that is a radical statement. When you discover your purpose it activates your innate capabilities. It is a tragedy to live a life without purpose, which ultimately leads to un-maximised potential, only a small number of people truly harness and maximize their potential.

2. Discover your passion: What are you passionate about? This is a legitimate question that I suggestion that you ask yourself occasionally. This is imperative because your passion has the proclivity to reveal your potential which is your hidden abilities. Discovering your passion will eventually leads to your potentials. Potential empower you with abilities that will help to facilitate what you are passionate about. Therefore it is appropriate to suggest that passion is one of the keys to discovering your potential. To maximize potential find what you love to do and create an action plan for achieving it.

3. Take action: You will never know what you are capable of doing until you take action. Most people talk themselves out of their objectives with the notion that they do not possess what it takes to achieve their goals and aspiration, when in reality they have not taking action in the direction of their anticipated expectations. Not until you take action and go to work on your aspirations you may never come to the full realization of the enormous potential that lies within you. You will discover to your amazement that you have what it takes to achieve what it is that you have set out achieve if only you do your due diligence to take action with what you know and the information that you have gleaned from great minds.

I am without doubt that these three ways will set you on your part to discovering your potential. It is of importance to reiterate that you possess the innate capacities to achieve your God-given dreams. You are loaded with unending capabilities.
